Join our Serve the City Partner Event! 

On May 15th, we invite our partners for an inspirational day of connecting and sharing how Serve the City is making impact in Amsterdam. With around 8,000 active volunteers in 2024, from schools, companies, and local residents, we are making a significant difference. We help many people and social organizations, create beautiful connections. Young people connect with companies, social organizations discover the value of working with youth, and corporate volunteers make a huge impact in just one day. 

We would love to share what we are doing in our city and will host workshops on working with volunteers and how companies and schools can get involved.

Location: Nieuwe Herengracht 18, 1018 DP, Amsterdam.

This event is for schools, companies, (social) organizations, and volunteers. Together, we will share and dream about how volunteering can make a difference in Amsterdam. 

We would love to welcome you at our beautiful office in the city centre of Amsterdam. Many social organisations are working together in this building to make Amsterdam a better place to live every day.

Companies

There are many benefits to engaging in employee volunteering as a company. It positively contributes to the company’s reputation, makes you an attractive employer, enhances team spirit, and allows employees to develop their talents in different ways. Does this sound like something you would like to pursue with your company? With nearly 10 years of experience, we have a lot to share and hope to inspire more companies to get involved with their employees. Our current partners will also share how employee volunteering has made a difference for the company and the city. Join the event and get inspired to start volunteering as a company. 

Schools and universities

We started working with schools 8 years ago. We strongly believe young people can find their place in society better through volunteering. Discovering what they really like and are good at is crucial in our programs. We organize project days for schools, but our passion lies in enrolling young people in long-term volunteering projects with training and coaching. Interested in how your school can get involved? Social organisations

The volunteering field has changed over the years. Many people still want to help but seek more flexibility. Over the past 18 years, we have worked with many social organizations and believe that with our mix of volunteers, young people, companies, and Amsterdam residents, we can make a difference. From painting houses to walking with the elderly to big clean-ups in Zuidoost, we are here to help where needed. Want to find out how our volunteers can support your organization?
